Министерство иностранных дел РФ рекомендует россиянам воздержаться от поездок в Египет в связи с массовыми беспорядками и дестабилизацией обстановки в регионе.
Тем россиянам, кто уже находится в стране, рекомендуется не покидать гостиницы, сообщает Департамент информации и печати министерства.
В ходе массовых беспорядков в Египте число жертв превысило 30 человек, более 1,1 тыс. человек ранены. Во всей стране объявлен комендантский час, в ряд городов введены армия и бронетехника. Властям пока удается держать ситуацию под контролем, однако президент страны Хосни Мубарак уже был вынужден отправить в отставку правительство.
Члены нового кабинета министров будут названы президентом сегодня, однако трудно предположить, приведет ли данная мера к прекращение протестов, так как демонстранты требуют отставки самого Х.Мубарака.
Выступая с обращением к нации, египетский лидер заявил, что решительно настроен обеспечивать и поддерживать стабильность в стране. По словам президента, все назревшие проблемы не следует решать с помощью "хаоса и насилия". Кроме того, Х.Мубарак также заявил о готовности проводить экономические и политические реформы в стране.
Как подчеркнул президент, реформы позволят улучшить положение бедных слоев населения Египта. По мнению Х.Мубарака, страна не рискует сойти с пути проведения реформ, которые теперь "продолжаться с новой силой".
